What is Lunch & Learn?This new training series from LACP aims to reach chiefs around the state by bringing training opportunities to them. In accordance with Act 388 of Louisiana Legislature requiring all municipal Chiefs of Police (elected or appointed) to complete 24 hours of law enforcement continuing education within every two-year period, beginning November 2009, LACP will offer a minimum of 6 hours of continuing education every month. The locations for these sessions will vary with an aim to reach chiefs in rural areas and will be open to all members of law enforcement.
